LIGHT BULB HOT LINE / On-Line Catalog
From 1986 to 1995
the service under B and B Ventures, Inc. called EELC (Environmental,
Energy and Lighting Consultants) has been testing energy saving
bulbs and helping American businesses save money. In 1990 William
Lauto was the Energy Advisor for the Earth Day Committee in New
York City and President of EELC. At the twenty anniversary of
Earth Day, these energy saving bulbs were now being made for Nine
(9) years! However, these bulbs were still not available in stores
for the general public. Thus, the Light Bulb Hot Line (1-516-822-BULB
[2852]) was started on Earth Day 1990,so the general public could
buy these new energy and money saving bulbs at the lowest possible
price, even if they were to buy just one bulb.
EELC has provided information and training on these bulbs to Power
Companies, employees of the EPA and Consumer Report Magazine.
The Light Bulb Hot Line has been written up in publications across
the United States, such as Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine,
Newspapers and Consumer Reports.
The expertise EELC
provided on energy saving light bulbs was beneficial in Press
Releases and in helping many homeowners solve a problem or two.

Since the start of the Light Bulb Hot Line their service,
friendly and helpful attitude is unsurpassed. In 1995 the Logo
EELC began the change over to a new Logo: Energy Hot Wire as we
looked toward our On-Line Catalog with FREE Energy Saving Data
posted for anyone to read. Today we are working well under our
new Logo energyhotwire.com
